This morning students from Murray Middle School were featured on News4Jax, because of the many ways in which the students are commemorating the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attack.
The students have created 9/11 dance performances, therater performances and art work.

In Mrs. Banton's art classes students were assigned art projects to honor the victims of 9/11.

In the feature dance teacher Catie Beam tells News4Jax newscaster Melanie Lawson that she was a student in dance class at Murray Middle School, when September 11th happened.
While the students at Murray Middle School were born after 9/11, the dances, performances and art projects are a great way to commemorate those, who were lost in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S
Theater students will be performing the play War at Home.
On Thursday at September 9th at 6:30 p.m., the St. Johns County Center for the Arts at Murray Middle School will present the 9/11 Remembered a commemoration for the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
