West Augustine Covid-19 Vaccine Efforts Featured on First Coast News

Tonight West Augustine's own Greg White and Pastor Anthony Britton from New Mt. Moriah Christian Ministry were featured on the First Coast News evening broadcast discussing the vaccination efforts in the community as well as an upcoming West Augustine COVID-19 vaccination event in September.

When it comes to getting the message out about vaccines "Doctors are not enough," White says. "In our community it is the pastors the majority of the time."

As for now the event date has not been released, but it will be around September 15th. 

New Mt. Moriah Christian Ministry has teamed up with White, Flagler Health Plus and other community organizations such as Compassionate St. Augustine to put together the event, and there will be free BBQ from Sho' Nuff Smokin Good Bbq in West Augustine to those who get their Covid-19 vaccine.

"We've had two members that passed here at New Mt. Moriah in the last month," Pastor Britton said and explained that both had pre-existing conditions.
