Florida Tax Free Back-To-School Week 2021 Starts Saturday

 

 

Florida's tax free back-to-school week is upon us, and whether you have children going back to school or you are a college student looking to buy a new computer, this coming week is the week to do it. 

About the Florida Tax Free Back-To-School Week 2021:

• The tax free week begins on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 and ends on Monday, August 9th, 2021.
• No taxes will be collected on
  
• Purchases of clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $60 or less per item
• Purchases of certain school supplies selling for $15 or less per item
• The first $1,000 of the sales price of personal computers and certain computer-related accessories, when purchased for noncommercial home or personal use

If you are a planner, the better deal might be in September, when you can shop the back-to-school clearance sales for next year. At this point, prices are increasing on everything, since the big companies are trying to get their hands on your Covid money, so just be careful, everything is not a great deal just because it is tax free week.
